“Stone Heart” is an upcoming American spy action film directed by Tom Harper, based on the screenplay by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder. The film stars Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Alia Bhatt, Sophie Okonedo, and Matthias Schoenaerts.
Development began in December 2020 when Gadot signed on for the lead role, with the film planned as the start of a franchise similar to the “Mission: Impossible” films. Harper and Netflix were confirmed as the director and distributor, respectively, the following month, and the rest of the cast was confirmed in early 2022. The filming took place in Italy, London, Reykjavik, and Lisbon from January to July.

The plot of the film is kept under wraps, but some general details are known: International intelligence agent Rachel Stone (Gal Gadot) is tasked with a dangerous mission to protect a mysterious MacGuffin known as the “Heart” (a valuable and very dangerous weapon technology). As part of a peacekeeping operation called Charter, Stone is assigned to prevent the object from falling into the enemy’s hands, a highly dangerous and intelligent hacker.
